What were the main themes of the book? Self-discovery, friendship and growing up. From the cover and the description, I wasn't expecting a book that had so much depth. Each of the main characters were layered. As the story progresses, these layers are peeled back one by one to reveal the journey to adulthood.

Describe your favourite scene. When Duncan and Ray trade in their BMW with Abe because Abe needs the money more than they do. It was a bit dramatic but I appreciated the sentiment that the guys had outgrown their material items.

Were you able to connect with the main character and why? There was more than one main character. If I had to choose one that was the most easiest to connect with, I would pick Duncan. He seemed to be the most logical and least complicated of the three.
